All Ages, All Grades
Rowing is a great sport to learn in high school. Unlike many sports, prior experience is not necessary to be successful - just a desire to work hard, learn, and support your teammates.

Rowing in College and Beyond
Recruiting Support
SRA provides all rowers with free support for college recruitment and scholarships.*
Among national high school rowers, 55% of girls and 17% of boys will receive a rowing scholarship. By comparison, less that 1% of high school soccer players will receive a college scholarship. *SRA provides no guarantee of college recruitment or scholarships. |
Success in College
Getting recruited is one thing, but SRA alumni go all the way. From Washington, Stanford, and California on the west coast, to Texas and SMU in the south, and north to MIT, Brown, and Wisconsin, Sammamish rowers win national championships at world-renowned universities.

National Team
In 2016, SRA alumni Hans Struzyna and Rob Munn represented the United States at the Olympics in Rio, finishing 4th in the Men's 8+. Other national team members (and World Champions) include Will Spencer, Sam Halbert, and Eli Maesner. Unbounded opportunity starts at SRA.
