Open Positions
Sammamish Rowing Association, located on Lake Sammamish in Redmond, WA, is currently seeking a full-time lead U17/Novice Coach for our Junior Women's team. In the fall this role will focus primarily on introducing novices to the world of competitive rowing, and in the spring will lead our U17 squad in preparation for the Northwest Regional Championship and beyond.
The SRA Junior Women's team aims to provide a competitive and supportive environment where our athletes can learn to go fast while having fun. The right individual will have a passion for developing excellent rowing technique, strong athletes, and great people. We are looking for someone passionate about junior rowing.
We are very fortunate to have a full fleet of Hudson 8's 4's 2's and 1x's within the beautiful Hod Fowler boathouse in Redmond. We have eight programs operating within the boathouse at all hours of the day. As such you must have a willingness to collaborate and compromise on equipment use and rigging. This position may be combined with an administrative role and/or a 3x a week masters coaching role to create a very competitive full time position. We are proud to offer PTO, an insurance stipend, extended paid holidays, and a 401k program. Salary range, $42,000-$47,000. Minimum three years of coaching experience required.
