Ways to Give

How you can power up your support

Empower Sammamish Rowing Association through Steady State Giving
Steady State Giving
Steady state giving refers to making a recurring commitment to our organization. Recurring gifts are incredibly beneficial to sustaining our efforts to live out our mission every day. When making a gift, you can choose to make it recurring and how often you would like to give. Simply click our donate button and power our community by building a better SRA!

Major Gifts
SRA gratefully accepts gifts of all sizes.  If you would like to discuss making a major gift, please contact our Executive Director.

SRA is able to accept your generous gift of stocks! Please see the information to the right with everything you need to make a stock transfer to Sammamish Rowing Association.

Sponsorship

If interested in becoming a sponsor and receiving benefits towards your business, please contact our Executive Director.

Planned Giving
Looking to make an incredible impact and leave a legacy? Planned giving allows you to make a meaningful impact on an organization you love and that reflects your philanthropic passions. Planned giving can look different for every donor. If interested in making a planned gift, please contact our Executive Director.

IRA Charitable Donation
Charitable IRA donations can be an incredibly effective way to give back. This under-publicized tax advantage is called a qualified charitable distribution. Depending on your financial situation, you might be able to take advantage of this tax benefit. We recommend talking to your tax, legal, or accounting advisors before engaging in any transaction.

Matching Funds & Volunteering
If your employer provides matching funds, please submit your donation to your employer for matching.  Employer matching may double or even triple your gift.  Since its founding in 1996, SRA has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in corporate matching funds.
Sammamish would not run smoothly without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Some employers also match volunteer hours and make a financial contribution in support of hours volunteered.  If your employer has such a program, be sure to submit your hours.
If you have any further questions about donations or volunteering, please contact our Executive Director.

Your donation to SRA is tax-exempt. Sammamish Rowing Association is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your tax return, please keep your donation receipt, sent by email or letter, as your official record.  SRA’s tax-exempt number is 91-1696516.
