High School Rowing

2023, 2024 AND 2025
NORTHWEST YOUTH REGIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONS

Rowing is a demanding sport that requires physical and mental toughness. The aim of SRA’s competitive high school program is to provide a supportive community environment that enables each rower to develop individually while also contributing to team goals.

Prioritizing success in four- and eight-person boats, SRA’s objective each year is to win the team points trophy at the Northwest Regional Youth Championships Regatta. Select qualified rowers go on to represent SRA at Youth Nationals, competing among the best rowers in the country.

SRA is a large and inclusive team of more than 150 athletes. The team is composed mostly of rowers in grades 9-12, along with select 8th graders who possess the necessary physical and mental maturity. Prior rowing experience is not required, but previous experience in other sports is welcome.
